A lifelong resident of Maryland’s scenic Eastern Shore, Joni brings over two decades of real estate expertise to her role as President and Broker of ERA Martin Associates, with offices located in Salisbury and Ocean Pines. A graduate of the University of Maryland, she launched her real estate career in 2004, quickly establishing herself in new construction and development while gaining invaluable experience in the operational side of the industry.

In 2008, Joni earned her Broker’s license and took on a leadership role within her firm, mentoring agents and guiding them in transactions, technology integration, and business growth strategies. Today, she oversees the company’s daily operations and strategic direction, with a strong focus on agent development and the implementation of innovative tools and systems to support their success.  Today, Joni focuses on providing hands-on agent development and support, and running the daily operations of the company.  

Joni is also a dedicated leader within the local real estate community. She is actively involved in the Coastal Association of REALTORS®, having served as President and currently volunteering her time to various task forces and committees. Her commitment to service extends beyond real estate, as she donates her time to several charitable organizations, including the Alzheimer’s Association, Wicomico Child Advocacy Center, and the Life Crisis Center.

When she’s not working, Joni enjoys quality time with her family and exploring the Eastern Shore’s natural beauty. Whether she’s attending a book club at a local winery or paddleboarding through Ocean City’s waterways, Joni embraces the lifestyle she helps others discover—making her a trusted resource for both real estate and local insights.
